The BCI Australasian Chapter is an approved local Chapter of the Business Continuity Institute (BCI). Its mission is to “realise the vision & mission of the BCI in the Australasian region”.
To this end, the Chapter’s main focus is to promote networking opportunities amongst Business Continuity professionals in the Australasian region and to act as an advocate for Business Continuity issues in the region.
The BCI Australasian Chapter is a registered non-profit organisation. It is run on a voluntary basis by “enthusiastic advocates” of Business Continuity in Australia and New Zealand. We receive limited funding from the BCI in the UK, but rely on |

fund raising from forums and events which we organise locally in cooperation with a number of partner organisations.
All members of the BCI in the Australasian region can benefit from the work and goals of the BCI Australasian Chapter.
The Chapter currently covers Australia and New Zealand. We have local representatives for defined regions in each country.
We do not deal with BCI membership or membership enquiries; these are administered centrally from the UK.
We welcome support and input from BCI members in the Australasian region. |
